Google is like the Holy Grail of marketing on the web. Rank well in
Google and your profits are pretty much set.
But there is SO MUCH bogus information out there, often coming from
the “gurus” themselves.
On January 9th, 2008, Jonathan Leger is releasing a new f.ree report
that completely obliterates the following myths about Google (and then
goes on to show you what DOES work):
Myth #1: Google Knows All and Sees All
Myth #2: Google Will Not Rank Duplicate Content
Myth #3: You Must Get Links From Related Subject Sites to Rank
Myth #4: Your Site Must Focus On One Subject To Rank
Myth #5: High PageRank Means Good Rankings
Myth #6: To Maintain Good Rankings, You Must Add New Content
..and..
MYTH #7: THE BIGGEST MYTH: Ranking In Google Is Hard!
The site is in pre-launch now, but if you sign up early you will get
a sample chapter full of proof and details.
And did I mention he’ll pay you for referring other people to this
powerful f.ree report? And that he’ll pay you for anyone THEY refer
as well (even while it’s in pre-launch)? Find out more about that
when you download your sample chapter from:

Friends of mine have told me, that their web sites are ranked better than web sites where the content have been original posted. For example in web directories, where Internet users submit their web sites and use paragraphs directly copy/past from their own websites. When such a kind of web site is very high trusted, has old domain and many back links ranks even much better with Duplicate content. And that makes sense, right?
But I think ranking in Google is really tough. Especially ranking with English keywords in Internetional Google search.
However ranking in local google searches like Google.de, Google.ru, Google.bg is not so hard.
For example, I am from Bulgaria and ranking in Bulgarian index is not so hard indeed. But Bulgaria is small country. There are many key phreses which are really easy to beat on SERP.
P.S.
I don`t catch this point:
“Your Site Must Focus On One Subject To Rank”
Is this mean that the websites must have similar content and one topic. Yes, this is really myth.
One think I have noticed. An old, really old URL addresses are well ranked very often and even with a little content on them.

The problem is the most part of the internet users can hardly explain how the search engine works. They see it as the kind of a magic box which answers the questions and shows the necessary information. That’s why appears the myth number one, when Google works as the wizard which knows and sees everything. The other myths are also easily explained, but when the person understands clearly the algorithm the myths which have seemed to be the truth, become quite funny.
